Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 25, 2026
ResiScore Inc., operating as Truly Staged (“we”, “us”), provides virtual staging and real estate media services to real estate professionals across Canada and the United States. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Ontario privacy guidance, Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and applicable US privacy principles, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).
1. Accountability and Privacy Officer
We have designated a Privacy Officer who is accountable for our compliance with this policy. Contact: privacy@trulystaged.com · ResiScore Inc., 76 Corbett Dr, Barrie, ON L4M 5V3, Canada.
2. Information we collect
- Contact and account information: agent name, brokerage, business email, telephone number.
- Property media and listing data: listing photographs, property address, city, MLS number, room counts, design preferences and notes.
- Transaction information: order amounts, deposit and balance status, and payment confirmations. Card details are processed by our payment provider and are never stored on our servers.
- Technical information: security-check signals used to prevent automated abuse, and basic server logs.
3. Purposes of processing
We collect and use personal information only to: provide and deliver staging services; issue proofs, invoices and receipts; operate the client review portal; prevent fraud and automated abuse; meet legal, tax and accounting obligations; and, only with your separate express consent, send commercial electronic messages.
4. Consent
By submitting an order you consent to the processing described above. Consent to marketing messages is requested separately, is never bundled with service consent, and is optional. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
5. No sale or sharing for advertising
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information or property media, and we do not share it with third-party advertising networks or data brokers. For CCPA/CPRA purposes, we do not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose information only to service providers (for example, secure cloud hosting and payment processing) bound by written confidentiality and security obligations, or when required by law.
6. Security
Information is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Listing media is stored in private storage accessible only through time-limited links. Portal access requires a unique Project ID and access code, with automatic lockout after repeated failed attempts. Staff access is restricted by role.
7. Cross-border processing
Some of our service providers may process or store information outside Ontario or Canada, including in the United States. Such information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We use contractual and technical safeguards to provide a comparable level of protection.
8. Retention
Project media and records are kept for the duration of the engagement and up to 24 months afterwards to support revisions, re-delivery and dispute resolution. Financial records are kept for the period required by Canadian tax law (generally six years). Information is then securely deleted or anonymized.
9. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and ask how it has been used or disclosed. California residents may additionally exercise rights to know, delete, correct, and limit use of sensitive information, and will not be discriminated against for doing so. Send requests to privacy@trulystaged.com; we respond within 30 days. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
10. Commercial electronic messages (CASL)
We send marketing messages only to recipients who have given express consent. Every message identifies ResiScore Inc. as the sender, includes our mailing address, and contains a working one-click unsubscribe mechanism processed within 10 business days. Transactional messages about your order (confirmations, proofs, invoices) are sent as part of the service.
11. Changes
We may update this policy and will post the revised version with a new “last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated to active clients.
This document is provided for transparency and should be reviewed by qualified Ontario legal counsel before being relied upon.
